Cancel a Reservation

In this video you will learn how to cancel a reservation in Opera Cloud.

Let's get started. First find the reservation you want to cancel. To find

the reservation you can go to bookings, reservations, and select manage

reservation to search for the reservation. Alternatively in this

example, I go to the Opera Cloud dashboard and click the arrivals tile to

go to the list of arrival reservations. Next to the reservation I want to cancel

I click the I want to arrow. On the I want to menu I click show more. Now, I

click cancel reservation.

I click the magnifying glass to select the cancel reason from the list and then

click select. If needed I can edit the cancellation description. Next, I click the

plus symbol on the deposit cancellation header. Then I scroll down to view the

cancellation policy for this reservation. In this example, I select cancel

reservation. A message displays with the cancellation

policy. Click cancel reservation to confirm. Now

I can see the cancellation number for this reservation. I can click the

vertical ellipse to open the Actions menu to text or fax the cancellation

confirmation letter. In this example I select to preview and print the

cancellation confirmation letter. I can select a different confirmation letter

template from the drop-down list or I can click the customize option to

customize the letter. Then click send.

Now I can view print or download the cancellation confirmation letter.
