Managing Profile Scheduled Activities (External Leisure)

Scheduled Activities is available when integrated with an external (leisure) activity solution used to manage guest activity reservations such as golfing, spa appointments, horseback riding, and so on. Through an integration with OPERA Cloud, the activity reservation details can be associated with OPERA Cloud profiles and, in turn, guest reservations, so you are aware of the guest's activity schedule during their stay. The Scheduled Activities panel lists the activities for the current profile as received from the external activity scheduler system.

The following information is displayed for each activity:

  • Type: Type of activity.

  • Location: Where the activity takes place.

  • Prs: Number of persons participating.

  • Date: Date when the activity takes place. If the activity spans more than one day, the date when the activity starts..

  • Start/End Time: Time when the activity starts and ends.

  • Duration: Hours and minutes duration for the activity.

  • Status: Current status of the activity.

Detaching Scheduled Activities

When you detach the profile from Activities, no further profile data synchronization take places and no activity information is passed between the External Activity Solution and OPERA Cloud for the current profile.

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profiles, then select Manage Profile.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select a Profile in the search results, click the I Want To . . . action, and then select Scheduled Activities or click the Scheduled Activities link in the Profile presentation.

  4. Select the Activity and click Detach.

Generating Scheduled Activities Report

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Client Relations, select Profiles, then select Manage Profile.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select a Profile in the search results, click the I Want To . . . action, and then select Scheduled Activities or click the Scheduled Activities link in the Profile presentation.

  4. Click the vertical ellipsis and select Report.

  5. Select a Destination and click Process.
