Configuring Catering Revenue Groups

Revenue Groups are high-level categories for Revenue Types, which track revenue, costs, and margins. You can report revenues from the Revenue Group level, if desired.

Adding a Catering Revenue Group

  1. Select the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Revenue Groups.

  2. Click New and complete the following fields:

    1. Code. Enter a code for the revenue group, such as FB for Food and Beverage.

    2. Description. Describes the event type, such as Food and Beverage.

    3. Manage Translations. Select to configure translated description for each language.

    4. Sequence. Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned.

    5. Inactive. Select this check box when a Revenue Group should no longer be available for selection.

      Note:

      To see Inactive codes in search results, click the page level vertical ellipsis on the search screen and select Show Inactive.
  3. Click Save to save and return to the Search panel.

Editing a Catering Revenue Group

  1. Select the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Revenue Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. From search results, select the Revenue Group, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Edit.

  4. Make the required changes.

  5. Click Save to save and return to the Search panel.

Deleting a Catering Revenue Group

You can delete a Catering Revenue Group only if it has not been assigned to a Catering Revenue Type.
  1. Select the Administration menu, select Booking, select Resource Management, and then select Catering Revenue Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. From search results, select the Revenue Group, click the vertical ellipsis, and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
