Managing Application Settings

Access Settings to manage the following for your OPERA Cloud session.

Select a Language for OPERA Cloud

Select a language for the OPERA Cloud user interface; application menu's, field prompts, links, labels and feedback messages are displayed in the language selected. 

Note:

A default language is set in your Oracle Identity Manager user profile.
  1. From the Side menu, select Settings.

  2. Language: Select a language from the list.

  3. Click Save.

    Note:

    OPERA Cloud will re-initialize to display in the selected language.

Enabling and Disabling Customization

In order to use page composer to customise the OPERA Cloud user interface you first need to enable customization.

  1. From the Side menu, select Settings.

  2. Customization:
    1. Hub/Property: Select to enable customization for the current Hub or Property location. For more information, see Changing Your Location in Multi-Property Operations.

    2. Global: Select to enable customization for all properties.

    3. Off: Select to disable customization.

  3. Click Save.

Once customization is enabled you will see a  customization enabled iconCustomizing for [location] indicator in the application title bar.

Disable (Customization=off) customization once you've completed customizing OPERA Cloud.

Set (User) PIN

A PIN is required for user authentication in some areas of OPERA Cloud. This is a 7-12 alpha-numeric PIN distinct from your Oracle Identity Manager or Single Sign-on password. If you forget your PIN, your administrator can reset (clear) your PIN through  Manage Users.

To set a new PIN for your user account:
  1. From the Side menu, select Settings.

  2. In the Change PIN area:
    1. Old PIN: Enter the current PIN.

    2. New PIN: Enter the new PIN.

    3. Confirm PIN: Repeat entry of the new PIN.

    4. Click Save.
