Adding a Schema Entry

Add Schema is the third tab of the Database Schema Password Manager. This tab is used to add a new schema entry to the FIDELIOBK schema.

To add a new schema entry:

1. On the Database Schema Password Manager screen, click ... to map to the TNS file on the local machine.
2. Click the Connection Name drop-down and select the appropriate schema connection.
3. Select the schema for which you wish to add a new entry.
4. Click the Add Schema tab, and then enter the following information:
   • System User: Enter the database system user name.
   • System Password: Enter the system user password.
   • Schema Name: Enter the name for the new schema entry.
   • Schema Password: Enter the password for the new schema.
   • Expiry Date: Enter the expiration date.

   Note:

   The latest encryption key is used for new entries.
5. Click Add User to complete the addition of a new schema entry.
