In the Browse panel, navigate to Catalog Media. From the Search For drop down, select one of the three Media types. Select the folder where you want to create the new asset. See Using the Navigation Panel for details.

Note: You can also create a media asset from the Find panel when Media is selected in the For menu. This creates the media asset in the Uncategorized Items or Unsited Items list.

Click the Create button in the toolbar and select one of the following:

Fill in the property fields in the Details panel. Required fields are marked with a star icon. Select the folder where you want to create the new asset.

Click the Create button at the bottom of the Details panel.
