Use the spreadsheet to view live unit and cost spreads for an activity assignment for a resource or role.
To view the assignments usage spreadsheet:
- Click Resources.
- On the Resources navigation bar, click Assignments.
- On the Assignments page:
- Click Spreadsheet View.
Note: To customize the list of resources displayed in the table, click Customize View and either use an existing filter or add a new filter.
- Click Customize View and then click Spreadsheet.
- On the Spreadsheet tab of the Customize View dialog box:
- Choose the columns to display in the view.
- Choose the Start Date and Finish Date to define a range for the spreadsheet.
- Select Calculate average for units and costs if you are dividing the unit and cost fields by a value, and then type a value in the Divide values by field.
- Select a Timescale for the view.
- Click Apply.
- Click Spreadsheet View.
Tips
- P6 includes only stored data in spreads. To see up to date spread data, select Actions, Run, Store Period Performance before summarizing the data.
- You can export the data on this page to a Microsoft Excel file by clicking Export.
