As a Gateway user, you can run and monitor synchronizations delivered in Gateway, as well as create and run new synchronizations in Gateway. Depending on your purpose the following sequence is recommended.
Using Synchronizations Delivered in Gateway
As a Gateway user, if you plan to run the synchronizations delivered in Gateway, read the following sections:

Creating Synchronizations in Gateway
As a Gateway user, if you plan to create synchronizations in addition to those delivered in Gateway or use a new business flow for a synchronization, use the procedures described in the Working With Synchronizations section.
Gateway administrators can perform all tasks listed above.
