Description
Bug 38076491:
DG81281: Oracle Financial Service Data Governance for North America Regulatory
Reporting Pack Release v8.1.2.8.1.
NOTE: This patch is required only if you
are installing the OFS Data Governance for North America Regulatory Reporting
ML Release 8.1.2.8.0 (Patch ID: 37690555).
New Features
The new features in the OFS Data Governance for North America Regulatory Reporting release are as follows:
1. Validation Rules Dash board (A4,E2,J2 and N3 OSFI Report)
2. New Granularity - Credit Line
Fund Lend
3. Excluding Derived Cells from
Adjustment
Pre-installation
Requirements
1.
The minimum patch set level must be OFS DGUSRR Application Pack
v8.1.2.0.0.
Installing this Release
To install the
release, follow these steps:

Log in to My
Oracle Support, and search for 38076491 under the Patches & Updates tab.
3.
Download the 38076491_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your
OFSAA Server in Binary Mode.
4.
Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.
For more information, see the Stopping Infrastructure Services section in Oracle
Financial Services Data Governance for US Regulatory Reporting Installation and
Configuration Guide.
5.
Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:
Unzip <name of the file to be
extracted>
For example: unzip 38076491_GENERIC.zip
6.
Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by
executing the command:

chmod -R 755
OFS_DGS
� chmod -R 755 appsLibConfig
7.
In the Installer Kit path /appsLibConfig/conf:
a.
Update
the params.conf file with the Upload Model
Parameter as 0.
8.
Navigate to the following directory:
<>/OFS_DGS/bin
9. Execute the install command:
./setup.sh SILENT
10.
Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:
<>/OFS_DGS/logs
11. Delete the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb directory.
12.
Generate the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application on
your Configured Web Application Server. For more information, see Create
and deploy EAR/WAR files.
13.
After the successful installation, restart all OFSAAI Services.
Post-installation Steps
The post-installation steps required for this one-off release are as follows:
1.
Set the flag ENABLE_EDIT_CHECK marked as Y in FSI_DGS_CONFIGURATION
table for validation rules execution.

2.
Execute the DGS_RR_KI_BATCH for FIC MIS DATE.
To avoid the derived
cells participated in the Adjustments, follow these steps.
1.
Clean up the tables FCT_KRI_DEF and FSI_KI_REP_SCH_CELL_CONFIG.
This is a one-time activity.
2.
Do the Report Mapping in Regulatory Reporting again.
For more details, see Deploy
to DGS.
3.
Execute the batch DGS_RR_KI_CONFIGURATION.
This is a one-time activity and can be executed
for any date.
