This section explains the procedure to configure
ComAgent for UDR machines.
To
configure ComAgent for UDR machines:

Configure UDR1 as a
high availability service provider for each NO in UDR2.

From Main Menu,
click Communication Agent.

Click Configuration.

Click Remote Servers.

Click Insert.

In the Remote Server Name field, enter unique identifier used
to label a Remote Server.
Note: You can enter a maximum of 32 character string.
The valid characters are alphanumeric, minus sign, period and underscore. The
string must start with an alphanumeric or an underscore and end with an
alphanumeric.

In the Remote Server IPv4 IP Address field, enter the IPv4 IP
address of the Remote Server. If IPv6 IP is specified then IPv4 IP address is
optional.

From the Remote Server Mode list, select the server mode. The
available options are Client and Server.

From the IP Address Preference list, select IP address
preference for connection establishment. The available options are:

In the assigned Local Server Groups field, add the server
groups which can be associated with the Remote Server. The Servers in these
server groups establish connections with this Remote Server. Server Groups
which are available in the Available Local Server Groups list and the servers
associated with the remote server are in the Assigned Local Server Groups list.

Click
OK to insert the remote server.

Click
Apply
to configure the remote server.

Preference
- IPv4 Preferred
- IPv6 Preferred
The Insert window opens.

Configure the remaining NOs in UDR2 as HA remote server in
UDR1.

UDR2 sends the Pool Spanning events to UDR1.

Repeat step 4 and step 5 for UDR1.

Now, UDR1 can send Pool Spanning events to UDR2.
