Starting with the Siebel CRM 18.4 Release Update, Siebel moved to a new Continuous Innovation / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) release model. The new model provides the ability to deliver new features and innovation faster to our customers. Our customers can now embrace frequent innovation updates without the need for major upgrades.
Moving to CI/CD models allows customers to be more Agile, promoting faster delivery, improved quality, flexability and reduced risk
This new model means our customers on 17.x and above will never run out of updates for their release. The concept of 18 months of error correction no longer applies.
The new update process makes it much easier to stay current with updates and reduce maintenance costs over the old application upgrade approach.
All future features and fixes will be delivered in monthly “Updates”. Updates may include additional improvements, new features and functionality as well as security improvements.
Monthly Updates replace annual Innovation Packs. Siebel CRM Monthly Release Updates are named for the year and month of their release. E.g. Update 22.1 was released in January, 2022.
Take advantage of all of the latest Siebel features and the improved update process by moving to the latest Siebel CRM Release Update. The Updates are cumulative, meaning the latest Update includes all previous fixes and features.
