In terms of Tier 1 capital, the organization is among the 30 largest financial institutions in the world. As of December 2014, total assets amount to €681 billion with a net profit of €1.8 billion. Global Finance ranks Rabobank 25th in its survey of “the world's safest banks”.
Rabobank is using Siebel CRM for Relationship Management and core retail banking operations, to improve customer service and sales across its national network of retail branches.
The highly skilled technical team have mastered DevOps agility in deploying updates to the Siebel CRM deployment. Five years prior to their 19.x upgrade, they were deploying updates quarterly. Then, shortly after, updates were deployed fortnightly. Since the Siebel 19.7 update in 2020, they have been deploying daily updates to production.
They migrated to the cloud platform of Azure DevOps and are using this platform, CI/CD Pipelines, scrum processes and Repos to auto-deploy updates to their Siebel implementation with minimal downtime for their ~15,000 users.
