Updating Company Settings on the IP Allowlist Tab

To complete the IP Allowlist tab (an allowlist is also known as a whitelist):

  1. On the Company Settings page, select the IP Allowlist tab, and then select Edit.
  2. In the IP Allowlist section, select Allow API access only from below IP addresses if you want to control the IP addresses from which Representational State Transfer (REST) web service calls are allowed.

Enter IP addresses to allow in the IPv4 and IPv6 fields by using comma (,) or semicolon (;) separators.

You can enter IP addresses in CIDR notation to allow IPs in a particular range. The maximum number of characters allowed for the IPv4 and IPv6 fields is 1000, and duplicate IP addresses will be removed. This Allow IP list filtering can be bypassed if an ‘EXTERNAL_REQUEST' header parameter is not provided in the request or an ‘EXTERNAL_REQUEST' header parameter is set to false.

  3. To save your changes, select Save.
