Creating Schedules and Related Entities

Administrator must create Work Schedule in OFSC → Configuration → Calendars (Work Schedules) with the exact Name and Label as Siebel Schedule name.

To Create Scheduled and Related Entities in Oracle Field Service

1. For each schedule shifts should be mapped by clicking on the Activities icon (under Actions) as highlighted.

   

2. Below shift is added to the Work Schedule by clicking on Add new button.

   
3. To configure breaks such as lunch breaks or any non-working hours in a schedule, these can be added as activities to a particular shift or work schedule following the below steps.

   1. Create an activity type such as Lunch break, for which add new activity type in Configuration → Activity types → Add New

   2. Create a Time Slot for the activity, for which Goto Configuration → Time Slots → Add New

   3. Associate the activity type created to the shift associated with the work schedules following the below steps.

      • Click on Shifts Button in the Work Schedules Screen and click on the Activities icon (under Actions) corresponding to the Shift
      • Click "Add New" to add an activity to the shift.
      • Add the activity as below by entering the Activity Type, Duration and selecting the Time Slot (Created in Step 2).
