Removal of Windows Dependency for the Integration of SSSE with Office 365

This topic describes removal of a Windows server when running Siebel Server Sync for Exchange (SSSE) with Office 365. This will allow customers to run SSSE from purely LINUX/UNIX environments, including when hosting Siebel CRM in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

To remove Windows Server from the Integration of SSSE with Office 365

1. Configure SSSE with O365 Integration

2. Add CA Certificate on Truststore

3. Enable SHA2 Support for Outbound Web Services

4. Add Proxy Settings to Catalina.sh of Siebel SES Container

5. Add Proxy Settings to Tomcat Service of Siebel SES Container

6. Stop and Start Siebel Server and Siebel SES Container
