PII Detection in CTMS

When data is entered into any Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) free-text field, such as descriptions or comments related to activities, there is a risk that you may inadvertently input Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This PII may pertain to clinical subjects or site-related details, such as email addresses, names, phone numbers, that should not be entered in these fields.To address this concern, the Siebel PII service can be configured against the text fields like user email address, telephone number where the PII service can check for any PII information and report it back to you. You can mask the reported information as needed.

Note: If a you opt to use this fuctionality, you need to separately license the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Language service (via upfront credits or pay-as-you-go model).
