enable-route-auth

Syntax

tadm enable-route-auth common_options --config=config_name 
--vs=vs_name --route=route_name ((--client-cert-nickname=nick_name) | (--auth-user=user --auth-header=auth_header))

Description

Use this command to enable the route authentication. Specify the client-cert-nickname to enable the client authentication. Specify the auth-user to enable the basic authentication.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--config|-c

Specify the configuration for which you want to enable route authentication.

--vs|-s

Specify the virtual server.

--route|-r

Specify the route name.

--client-cert-nickname|-l

Specify the client certificate nickname.

--auth-user|-t

Specify the authenticated user.

--auth-header|-d

Specify the name of the authentication header.

Example

tadm enable-route-auth --user=admin --password-file=./admin.passwd --host=admin.example.com --port=8989 --no-prompt 
--config=www.example.org --vs=soa.example.org 
--route=Route1 --auth-user=admin --auth-header=header-1-auth

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
