Adding the Oracle Maxymiser app to the canvas

Important: Oracle will discontinue Oracle Maxymiser Cloud Service and its Eloqua app on May 31, 2024. Begin reducing use now and uninstall by that date. The app will no longer function after this date. For uninstallation guidance, see Managing installed apps. Learn more about alternative services.

You can use the Oracle Maxymiser app on the contact program and campaign canvas. The app must be installed by a Customer Administrator.

To add the Maxymiser action to the canvas:

  1. In Oracle Eloqua, open an existing program or campaign, or create a new one.
  2. Drag the Maxymiser DataLink element, from the Actions section, onto the canvas.

  3. Double-click the element to open the configure screen.

    The window that opens enables you to do the following:
    • Change the name of the step to something more meaningful.
    • Configure the element.
    • Configure the scheduling.
    • Choose to route contacts that resulted in an error to another step (see: Campaign canvas elements for more information).
  4. Click An image of the Cloud Menu icon. to configure the Eloqua fields that you want to import into Maxymiser attributes.
    1. Select a Maxymiser site.
    2. Map an Eloqua field to a Maxymiser attribute. Click + to add more field mappings.

      Only published Maxymiser attributes will appear here.

    3. Click Save
  5. Add other elements to the program or campaign. For example, in a contact program, you could add a segment to pull in relevant contacts and a listener to listen for contact creation or contact field changes for that segment. Learn more about these program canvas steps.
  6. Finish configuring the rest of your program or campaign and activate it when you are ready.
