    The Vimeo Module

    The Vimeo Module allows you to place a Vimeo video on your Oracle Social Marketing Content & Apps View.

    Adding Vimeo Modules to Content & Apps Views

    All modules are added to a View in the same way with our drag-and-drop interface. To get more information on this, see the Building a View: Adding Modules and Content to Views in Content & Apps help article.

    Once you have added a module and given it a name, the module will open for you to edit it or add content. Back on the View layout, you'll see a callout bubble next to your module - click the triangle for controls for your module. This callout will not appear on your published View and your new module will not appear on your Facebook Tab until you click Publish.

    Adding Videos to Vimeo Modules

    When you drag-and-drop a Vimeo module onto a View, it will automatically open to the edit page for that module. To add a location to a module you've already created:

    1. Next to your Vimeo module you’ll see a callout bubble with the title of your module in green text. Click the green triangle next to the title to show your options.
    2. If you want your module to have a header, select the check box labeled Header. The text in the header will be you have named the module.
    3. Click Edit Module and you'll be taken to the Edit Module page.
    4. To add a video, paste the URL of the video into the Vimeo URL field.
    5. If you want the title of the video to be displayed on the module, select the check box next to Display Title.
    6. If you want the byline of the video to be displayed on the module, select the check box next to Display Byline.
    7. If you want the user image of the video poster to be displayed on the module, select the check box next to Display User Image.
    8. Click Update.

    There are also advanced options for this module - you can set the width or height for the video player if you wish it to be a different size than how it appears in the module position you place it in. You can also choose to have an accent color display on the video player around the video.

    Note: The Vimeo module cannot be displayed on a mobile version of a View, because it uses Flash.
