Working with Telephone Number Specifications

You use Telephone Number specifications to define the types of telephone numbers that your inventory includes and how they are managed in the business process. A Telephone Number specification is a blueprint for the various kinds of telephone numbers you might use. In addition to the standard aspects of a specification, you need to define how telephone numbers based on the specification are formatted for display and storage.

You create Telephone Number specifications in the same manner as you create other types of specifications. See "Creating New Specifications" for more information.

See "Telephone Number Specification Editor" for reference information about the tabs you use to define a Telephone Number specification.
