Oracle REST Data Services Beta Documentation Release 17.3

Overview

Welcome to the Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) documentation library. ORDS is a Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE) based alternative for Oracle HTTP Server and mod_plsql. The Java EE implementation enhances functionality via a command-line interface, enhanced security, file caching, and RESTful Web services. ORDS increases flexibility via support for Oracle WebLogic Server, GlassFish Server, Apache Tomcat, and operation in standalone mode.
