Managed Databases across compartments can be grouped together as part of a Database Group, which is an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resource. A Database Group is useful when you want to monitor and manage your critical databases across compartments and it also enables you to perform administrative operations on all the databases in a Database Group.

Before you go to the Database groups page to create a Database Group and add Managed Databases to the group, you must review and complete the tasks given in Get Started.

To go to the Database groups page:

1. Sign in to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
2. Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management. Under Database Management, click Database Groups.
