AutoScalingConfiguration¶

An autoscaling configuration lets you dynamically scale the resources in a Compute instance pool. For more information, see Autoscaling.

__init__(**kwargs)¶

Initializes a new AutoScalingConfiguration object with values from keyword arguments. The following keyword arguments are supported (corresponding to the getters/setters of this class):

Parameters:

compartment_id (str) – The value to assign to the compartment_id property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
defined_tags (dict(str, dict(str, object))) – The value to assign to the defined_tags property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
display_name (str) – The value to assign to the display_name property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
freeform_tags (dict(str, str)) – The value to assign to the freeform_tags property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
id (str) – The value to assign to the id property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
cool_down_in_seconds (int) – The value to assign to the cool_down_in_seconds property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
is_enabled (bool) – The value to assign to the is_enabled property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
resource (oci.autoscaling.models.Resource) – The value to assign to the resource property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
policies (list[oci.autoscaling.models.AutoScalingPolicy]) – The value to assign to the policies property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
time_created (datetime) – The value to assign to the time_created property of this AutoScalingConfiguration.

compartment_id¶

[Required] Gets the compartment_id of this AutoScalingConfiguration. The OCID of the compartment containing the autoscaling configuration.

Returns:	The compartment_id of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	str

cool_down_in_seconds¶

Gets the cool_down_in_seconds of this AutoScalingConfiguration. For threshold-based autoscaling policies, this value is the minimum period of time to wait between scaling actions. The cooldown period gives the system time to stabilize before rescaling. The minimum value is 300 seconds, which is also the default. The cooldown period starts when the instance pool reaches the running state.

For schedule-based autoscaling policies, this value is not used.

Returns:	The cool_down_in_seconds of this AutoScalingConfiguration.

defined_tags¶

Gets the defined_tags of this AutoScalingConfiguration. Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags.

Returns:	The defined_tags of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	dict(str, dict(str, object))

display_name¶

Gets the display_name of this AutoScalingConfiguration. A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.

Returns:	The display_name of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	str

freeform_tags¶

Gets the freeform_tags of this AutoScalingConfiguration. Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags.

Returns:	The freeform_tags of this AutoScalingConfiguration.

id¶

[Required] Gets the id of this AutoScalingConfiguration. The OCID of the autoscaling configuration.

is_enabled¶

Gets the is_enabled of this AutoScalingConfiguration. Whether the autoscaling configuration is enabled.

Returns:	The is_enabled of this AutoScalingConfiguration.

max_resource_count¶

Gets the max_resource_count of this AutoScalingConfiguration. The maximum number of resources to scale out to.

Returns:	The max_resource_count of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	int

min_resource_count¶

Gets the min_resource_count of this AutoScalingConfiguration. The minimum number of resources to scale in to.

Returns:	The min_resource_count of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	int

policies¶

[Required] Gets the policies of this AutoScalingConfiguration. Autoscaling policy definitions for the autoscaling configuration. An autoscaling policy defines the criteria that trigger autoscaling actions and the actions to take.

Returns:	The policies of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	list[oci.autoscaling.models.AutoScalingPolicy]

resource¶

[Required] Gets the resource of this AutoScalingConfiguration.

Returns:	The resource of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
Return type:	oci.autoscaling.models.Resource

time_created¶

[Required] Gets the time_created of this AutoScalingConfiguration. The date and time the autoscaling configuration was created, in the format defined by RFC3339.

Example: 2016-08-25T21:10:29.600Z

Returns:	The time_created of this AutoScalingConfiguration.
