Back Up Oracle Business Intelligence Catalog Customizations

Back up the Oracle Business Intelligence Catalog customizations from the Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 environment.

As a standard practice, when you customize the pre-built content, make sure you save your customized content and reports in a separate Shared Folders/Custom folder. The Upgrade process preserves the content only in the Shared Folders/Custom folder.
  1. Open the Analytics link of the Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.10.3 environment using the URL format, http://<hostname>:<port>/analytics.
  2. Click Catalog to view the content in the Shared Folders/Custom folder.
  3. Archive the custom Analytics content in the Shared Folders/Custom folder.
    1. Select the Shared Folders/Custom folder, and then click Archive.
    2. Select Keep Permissions and Keep Timestamps.
    3. Click OK.
