New App Built with Oracle JET
Oracle Maintenance for EBS is rebuilt using Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (Oracle JET). The JET-based app replaces the previous MAF-based mobile experience and provides the foundation for the newer mobile personalization and extension capabilities. The mobile app supports Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.3 and later on iOS and Android, and it keeps core maintenance flows available to technicians and supervisors through a refreshed mobile shell.

Steps to enable and configure
- Review the Oracle Maintenance for EBS mobile release notes for Mobile Release 10.0 and confirm the supported Oracle E-Business Suite release level.
- Apply the required server-side patches and complete mobile application setup for the Maintenance mobile app.
- Install or update the Oracle Maintenance for EBS app on managed mobile devices.
- Validate sign-in, responsibility selection, synchronization, and common technician and supervisor navigation flows before broad rollout.
Tips and considerations
- Plan a controlled rollout when moving users from the earlier MAF app to the JET app.
- Confirm offline synchronization and device management policies before field technicians adopt the new client.
- Use the JET release as the baseline for later personalization, extension, and Redwood improvements.
