United States: Download ACA Transmission Files as Zip

Download Affordable Care Act transmission files in zip format directly from the Benefits ACA Transmission page. Prior to this release, accessing ACA transmission files to submit to the IRS required system administrator involvement.

Benefits administrators can now use the Search ACA Transmission page to download transmission zip files for IRS or applicable state submission. This lowers dependency on technical staff and makes the filing workflow more efficient.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

• Use the Download Zip column on the Search ACA Transmission page for the applicable transmission file.
• Save the zip file to a local drive or desktop for transmission to the IRS or applicable state agency.
• Confirm the transmission file selected corresponds to the correct filing year and jurisdiction.
