Assigning a Version to a Variable

You can assign any Normal version to any accessible version variable. Baseline or As-Of versions cannot be assigned to a variable. Only one version can be assigned to a variable. If a variable currently has a version assigned, then that version is removed and the new version is assigned.

To assign a version to a variable:

  1. From Browse, right-click a version to assign it to a variable and then select Set Variables.

  2. Select a variable from the list.

To make multiple changes to version variable assignments:

  1. From Browse, click version variable button.

  2. For any assigned version that you want to change, select the row. In the Assigned Version column, select the new version to assign to the variable.

  3. In the Action column, click save button.

  4. Click Close.
