Creating Version Variables

When creating a version variable, you must enter a label and select an object access level (user, standard, system, or custom group). The label must be unique across all versions and variables. A version variable may be created by adding it to the list of existing variables or by selecting a version and adding a new variable.

To create a version variable:

  1. From Browse, click version variable button.
  2. Click add button.
  3. Enter the name and description for the version variable and select an object access.
  4. Click OK.
