Viewing Change Metrics

To view change metrics:

  1. From Oracle Data Relationship Management Analytics, select Change.
  2. Click the filter bar and set filter options. Click popup search list to select versions, hierarchies, node types, and workflow models.
    • Version—Select one or more versions. You can see only the versions to which you have access

    • Version Lineage––If selected then only data from versions selected in the filter are displayed.

      • If selected and the head version of a given lineage change is also selected in the filter, then data from all versions in the lineage change are displayed.

      • If selected and the head version is not selected in the filter, then no data from any version in the lineage is displayed regardless of which other versions are selected.

    • Hierarchy––You can select hierarchies only when a single version is selected.

    • Node Type––Select a node type.

    • Change Method––Select from these methods: All, Interactive, and Workflow.

    • Workflow Model––You can select workflow models only when the Workflow change method is selected.

    • Timeframe––Select a predefined timeframe or select Custom, and then select a Start Date and End Date.

  3. Click Apply.

    Tip:

        • Hierarchy

        • Node Type

        • Workflow Model––Available only when Change Method is set to Workflow

        • Property––Available only when you select Property Changes in the summary pane

      • Sort By

        • Count

        • Name

    • Click graph view Graph to view the change distribution and trend chart. Duration (as set by the timeframe filter) is displayed on the x axis and number of changes within the timeframe on the y axis.

    • Set how you want the chart to display:

      • If the selected change method is All, then the chart displays three trend lines:

        • Workflow trend line

        • Interactive trend line

        • Cumulative trend line for both workflow and interactive changes

      • If Workflow or Interactive is selected for the change method, then only a single trend line for that method is displayed.

    • Drill into a change method for additional information.

Drilling is available only when the duration is set to weeks or months. Click on a data point to drill into a specific month/week and change method. If duration is set to days, then drilling is not available.
