18 Using Data Relationship Management Analytics

The Oracle Data Relationship Management Analytics module provides multiple dashboards and reports to allow data managers to measure performance, monitor changes, and mitigate issues. Data Relationship Management Analytics provides:

  • Dashboards to track master data and governance request metrics

    • Change Management––Analyze change activities based on version, hierarchy, node type, property, and workflow model, including governance vs. interactive changes

    • Growth Analysis––Analyze how versions and hierarchies have changed over time by reviewing total number of nodes, number of orphan nodes, and number of shared nodes

    • Request Monitoring––Monitor in-flight change requests, identify bottlenecks and requests that are overdue or near due, and drill-back into Oracle Data Relationship Governance requests.

    • Model Analysis––Analyze workflow model design, identify participant behavior trends, view resource workload and time committed, and drill-back into Data Relationship Governance requests.

  • Reports to monitor user and group membership, assignments and authorization, user activity, and metadata object usage

Execution plans are used to prepare data for analysis and are run with a built-in job scheduler.

Note:

After running jobs to generate data, any dashboards or reports that are currently open do not automatically refresh until some user action, such as changing the filter criteria, is performed.

Drill-through from dashboards to Data Relationship Governance requests is provided. Information from dashboards and reports can be exported in .XLS format for further analysis.

Note:

Data Relationship Management Analytics detects the language used by the Web browser to determine the language in which to display the module. Culture is not supported as in Data Relationship Management, therefore numbers may display differently in Data Relationship Management Analytics.
