Enabling Access Permissions for Dimensions

Use the Dimensions Property tab to set access permissions to user-defined custom dimension members.

To enable access permissions for dimensions:

1. Select Administration, then Manage, and then Dimensions.
2. In Dimension, select the dimension.
3. Select Actions, and then select Edit.
4. In Dimension Properties, select Apply Security.

   Note:

   If you do not select this option, there is no security on the dimension, and users can access its members without restriction. See Enabling Access Permissions for Dimensions.

5. Click Save.

   Click Reset to revert to previously saved values.
