Entering Address Translations (Release 9.2 Update)

You can translate alpha name, mailing name, and addresses in the languages defined in the UDC 01/LP. The translations for alpha name, mailing name and address are saved in the F0101D, F0111D, and F0116D tables respectively.

To translate:

  1. Open the Work with Addresses program (P01012), and search and select a grid record for translation.

  2. Click Translations in the Row exit of the form. You can also access translation forms from the form exit of the Address Book Revision program.

  3. In the Existing Address Book Translations form click Add.

  4. Select the language, enter the translation, and click OK.

    Note: State, County and Country are translated using the UDC 00/ST, UDC 00/CT and UDC 00/CN respectively.

The following reports print the entered translations based on your customer language preference:

  • Statement Print Report (R03B5001)

  • Credit Card Statement Print Report (R03B5003)

  • A/R Delinquency Notices Print Report (R03B20)

  • Tiered Delinquency Notice Print Report (R03B21)

  • Statement Print with Draft Report (R03B506)

  • Invoice Print Report (R03B505)

  • Invoice Print with Draft Report (R03B5051)

  • Quote Report (R43530)

  • Print Invoices Report (R42565)

The other reports print the entered translations based on your user profile language preference.

Viewing/Editing Translations

  1. Open the Work with Addresses program (P01012), and search and select a grid record.

  2. Click Translations in the Row exit of the form.

  3. In the Existing Address Book Translations form click Find and select the record, and then click Select.

  4. Make the changes and click OK.
