Understanding Link Information

The Link Information section identifies the content that you are embedding on the Composite Application Framework for the enabled form.

The name you enter in the Name field is the name of the content that shows on a shared layout when you retrieve content using the Open Existing Content icon.

The information you enter in the Description field becomes the title of the content frame on the Composite Application Framework, and this is the name that appears on the tab when a user minimizes the content frame. The Description field is optional and if you do not enter information in this field, the content frame will not show a title for the content frame on the Composite Application Framework, and the name of the tab when content is minimized will be the information that was entered in the Name field.

You also identify the source where the system can find the content, such as a web page URL or the name of the EnterpriseOne form that is to be embedded on Composite Application Framework. The source for Web pages and OBIEE objects are URL addresses, and the source for EnterpriseOne forms is the application name such as P01012, which the Address Book application.

The fields that are available for data entry in this section are different depending on the type of content that you are creating.
