Grouping Elements that Return Additional Elements
Some of the grouping elements that you can associate with a data row definition cause the system to retrieve additional elements that you can use on your financial statement. The system does not display the additional elements on the Revise Row Definitions form. You can view the additional elements when you perform one of these actions after placing the row definition in a statement definition:
Use the Preview Report Def (Preview Report Definition) option in the Statement Definitions program (P09330).
The system opens the Revise Statement Definition form with a Report Definition side panel. The panel lists the elements for each row definition.
Click Continue on the Manage Layouts - Revise Layout Version form in the Statement Definitions program.

Open a layout in the BI Publisher Editor (Layout Editor).
You must click the Create Layout icon on the Report Definition side panel if no layout exists for the version, or click the Edit Layout icon on the Layout panel if a layout exists for the version to access the Layout Editor.
