Understanding the Finance and Accounting Fluid Homepage

Based on PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface technology, the Finance and Accounting Homepage helps customers organise their work by roles. You can use this information to handle finance and accounting tasks performed throughout the day.

Note:

The tiles on the Finance and Accounting Homepage and associated pages were designed using PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface technology. They can be accessed from a mobile device. See Application Fundamentals: Understanding PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface and PeopleTools: Fluid User Interface Developer’s Guide for more information.

From the Finance & Accounting Homepage, users can review these areas:

• General Ledger

  The Finance and Accounting users can access General Ledger navigation collections.

• GL WorkCenter

  In this scenario, a Finance and Accounting user can access the General Ledger WorkCenter page in PeopleSoft Fluid.

• Approvals

  For example, you can review and approve reconciliation transactions and access header details.

  Note:

  The Approvals tile also appears on the Employee Self Service Homepage and lists all approval transactions.
