Understanding AI-Enabling Components

PeopleTools delivers AI-Enabling components that help organizations build and deploy their own AI powered solutions within PeopleSoft.

The PeopleTools AI integration components include:

• Chat User Interface (Chat UI) – A conversational user interface that can be embedded within PeopleSoft and connected to any Agentic AI platform.
• Natural Language (NL) Search Service – A reusable application service that converts natural language questions into secure OpenSearch queries and returns business results.
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server – A reusable standards-based integration layer that exposes PeopleSoft APIs, services, and search capabilities as AI tools that can be consumed by AI agents.
