Manager Auto Update Settings
When managed objects are changed, it is possible for the version in the cache to get out of sync with the version in the database. PeopleTools includes the Extended Manager Update Protocol feature, which is a series of SQL statements that synchronize managed object cache with the database.
The Extended Manager Update Protocol feature is run any time a managed object is updated in:

C++ codeline outside of the manager framework

PeopleCode SqlExec statements
-
SQL objects
-
Data Mover scripts
In some cases, Oracle Support may direct you to exclude managed objects from the Extended Manager Update Protocol. In that case, use the Extended Manager Update Protocol Settings page to disable the Extended Manager Update Protocol for selected managed objects.

Click the Object Type find button and select the object that you want to exclude from the Extended Manager Update Protocol. Click the add button (+) to select additional objects for exclusion.
Save the page. You do not have to restart the application server or Process Scheduler in order for the changes to take effect.
