Prerequisite for Importing and Exporting PeopleSoft 8 Trees to an External File

Before you import or export a tree, you must set the PS_TREEBASEDIR environment variable. See Integration Broker: Setting PS_FILEDIR and PS_TREEBASEDIR in Microsoft Windows Environments and Integration Broker: Setting PS_FILEDIR and PS_TREEBASEDIR in UNIX Environments.

Note:

If PS_TREEBASEDIR is not set, an error message will be displayed saying Environment variable PS_TREEBASEDIR, needed to qualify a file name, is not set.
