Manage AI Assistant Features and Models

Oracle Analytics Cloud AI Assistants use registered generative AI models to provide AI-powered capabilities throughout Oracle Analytics Cloud. Administrators can enable or disable AI Assistant features, assign generative AI models to individual features, and monitor AIDP Unit consumption for each feature.

You can assign different registered generative AI models to different AI Assistant features. For example, you might assign one model to Workbook Assistant and another model to Catalog Descriptions, depending on your organization's requirements for performance, cost, or data residency.

An AI Assistant feature's Region column identifies the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure region where the registered generative AI model is available. This information can help organizations meet data residency requirements when selecting models.

The Monthly Consumption column displays the AIDP Unit consumed by each registered generative AI model during the current month. You can hover over the value to view AIDP Unit consumed by an individual AI Assistant feature.

Oracle Analytics Cloud displays AIDP Unit consumption for each AI Assistant feature to help you evaluate how generative AI models are being used across your organization. Reviewing feature-level consumption can help you identify high-usage AI Assistant features and determine whether a different generative AI model would better meet your organization's cost, performance, or governance requirements. See About Generative AI Models and AIDP Units.
