Import the Semantic Model From Data Modeler

You can migrate the model created in and deployed from Data Modeler into your semantic modeler development environment.

Before you import the semantic model, be sure that you understand the steps required to migrate the model. See Plan Your Migration From Data Modeler to Semantic Modeler.
After migration, check to see if you need to update the model's variable names. See Fix a Semantic Model's Database Names Used by Initialization Blocks and Variables.
  1. On the Home page, click Create and then click Semantic Model.
  2. In Create Semantic Model enter a name for the semantic model. Click Create.
  3. In the Create Semantic Model options page, click Import the Deployed Model.
