Choose the Data to Display in Data Point Tooltips

Use the Tooltip Grammar Only option for the Tooltip property to limit the tooltips to display only specific measures when consumers hover over data points in a visualization.

The Tooltip section in the Grammar pane isn’t available for the following visualization types:

• Correlation Matrix
• Parallel Coordinates
• Dashboard Filters
• Language Narrative
• List
• Legend

1. On your home page, hover over a workbook, click Actions, and select Open.
2. Select the visualization on the canvas.
3. Click Properties.
4. In the Tooltip row, click All Data and select Tooltip Grammar Only.
5. In the Data pane, drag the measures you want to include in the tooltip to the Tooltip section of the Grammar pane.
6. Click Save.
