Create a Density Heatmap Layer on a Map

Use a heatmap layer to show the density for each data point on a map visualization.

1. On your home page, hover over a workbook, click Actions, and select Open.
2. In the Data panel, click Visualizations , then drag the Map visualization to the canvas.
3. Click Data , then drag one or more attribute columns containing map-related data to Category (Location) in the Grammar pane.
4. Click Properties, then click Layers .
5. In the Layer Type row, click Auto (Point) and select Heatmap.
6. Click Save.
