Perform Advanced Catalog Management
You can use the Catalog page in Oracle Analytics to perform most management tasks for your catalog. You can also use Catalog REST APIs to programmatically perform searches, manage access control lists, move and copy catalog objects, manage folders, and so on. See Catalog REST Endpoints.
If you want to perform advanced tasks, you can deploy and use the Catalog Command Line Interface on a local Windows or Linux machine. For example, the Catalog Command Line Interface enables you to create advanced catalog reports and diagnose catalog issues by viewing the underlying XML code of catalog objects.
