Upload a Knowledge Document to an AI Agent

Learn how to upload a knowledge document to an AI agent to enhance its ability to provide accurate and relevant answers.

  1. On your home page, find the agent you want to add a knowledge document.
  2. Hover over the agent, click Actions, and then click Open.
  3. Click Edit the Agent.
  4. Click Upload new document.
    1. Navigate to the PDF or txt file you wish to upload and click Open.
    2. Edit the Title field.
    3. Set the Priority for the document.
    4. Select the Language. Make sure the selected language matches the language of the related document.
    5. Ensure that Enable Document Usage in Agent is selected. You can deselect this later if you wish to temporarliy stop using a document in the agent, but don't want to delete it entirely.
    6. Click Save.
    Once uploaded, the document will display an indexing status, indicating that the system is processing and preparing the document for use. Wait a few seconds for the indexing process to complete. You can refresh the page or panel to update the document's status. The status will change to Ready once indexing is finished.
  5. Once your document is indexed and ready, you can interact with it in the following ways:
    • Reupload: Upload a new document to replace the existing one.
    • View: Open the document for viewing.
    • Edit: Modify the document's title as needed.
    • Download: Retrieve a copy of the uploaded document.
    • Delete: Remove the document from the knowledge base.
  6. Double-click an uploaded document link to view it.
