Oracle Autonomous Database

Autonomous Database provides an easy-to-use, fully autonomous database that scales elastically, delivers fast query performance, and requires no database administration. Autonomous Database on dedicated infrastructure provides you with a private database cloud in the public cloud. You get a completely dedicated compute, storage, network, and database service, providing the highest security, isolation, and governance levels.

Autonomous Database on dedicated infrastructure offers two deployment possibilities for operational control and isolation:

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, referred as Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure
  • Exadata Cloud@Customer, referred as Autonomous Database on Exadata Cloud@Customer
