Service Console: Access Rules Page
This topic does not apply to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
The Access Rules page displays rules used to control network access to Oracle Big Data Cloud clusters. You use the page to view, manage, and create security rules.
What You Can Do from the Access Rules Page
Use the Access Rules page to perform the following tasks:

Create Rule |
Click to create a new access rule. See Create Access Rules. |
Results per page |
Specifies the number of results you want to view per page. The default value is 10. |
Refreshes the page. |

Status |
Displays an icon that indicates whether the access rule is enabled or disabled. |
Indicates the access rule is enabled. |

Indicates the access rule is disabled. |

Rule Name |
Name of the access rule. When creating an access rule, this must start with a letter, followed by letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores. |
Source |
Hosts from which traffic is allowed. Possible value is PUBLIC-INTERNET, or a custom value in the form of an IP address. |
Destination |
Security list to which traffic is allowed. |
Ports |
Port or range of ports for the access rule. |
Protocol |
Protocol for the access rule. |
Description |
Description of the access rule (optional). |

Type of access rule. Access rule types are:
