Authorize and Allow Slack and Oracle Content Management Access

The first time you invoke the Oracle Content Management for Slack app, you’ll need authorize access to your Oracle Content Management instance.

  1. Invoke the Oracle Content Management for Slack App.

  2. Click Authorize Slack in the Slack message to give Slack access to your Oracle Content Management instance. The authorization page is displayed in your browser.

  3. Select the Slack workspace to be used from the choice list in the upper right corner of the authorization page and click Allow to give Oracle Content Management access to your Slack workspace. The Oracle Content Management for Slack authorization dialog is displayed.

  4. Click Allow to give Oracle Content Management for Slack permission to list Oracle Content Management files and folders and post links in your Slack messages.

Note:

After you have allowed access, you will need to reinvoke the Oracle Content Management for Slack app.
