Assess the Performance of Your Fleet at a Glance

You can monitor and assess the performance of your fleet of Oracle Database entities on the Performance tile on the Oracle Database Fleet Home page.

The performance data of your fleet can be viewed on an advanced Heat Map or a List view and you can select the view in the View is drop-down list.

The Heat Map view is a visual representation of your fleet’s performance for a selected performance metric, which makes the information easy to interpret. Using the heat map you can easily identify the Autonomous Database or on-premises Oracle Database entity that needs your attention on various dimensions such as DB Time, Execution Rate, and so on.

To view the performance of your fleet for a selected metric on a heat map:
  1. Go to the Oracle Database Fleet Home page.
  2. On the Performance tile, ensure that Heat Map is selected in the View is drop-down list.
  3. Click the Metric drop-down list and select a performance metric, for example DB Time (sec).
The heat map is updated and the size of the box assigned to each entity denotes the current value of the selected metric and the color denotes the percentage change from the average metric value over the last 24 hours. For example, if DB Time (sec) is selected in the Metric drop-down list and a particular Autonomous Database entity is represented in a big red box on the Performance heat map, then the entity's DB time and the rate of change from the average over the last 24 hours are high.
  4. Optionally, click the Group By drop-down list to group your entities by Region.
On the Performance heat map, you can click an Oracle Database entity to go to the Database Home page for that entity.
