Unable to See the "Edit Page in Visual Builder Studio" Option in an Oracle Cloud Application

If your users don't see the Edit Page in Visual Builder Studio option in their Oracle Cloud Application, it could be because:

  • They don't have the right privileges to access VB Studio. See Set Up VB Studio Users and Add Users to the Project.
  • They may not be working in an environment that has an instance of VB Studio associated with it, such as a TEST environment. See Manage Extensions on Multiple VB Studio Instances.
  • Their Oracle Cloud Application hasn't yet adopted Oracle's new Redwood design pattern, so this page isn't extensible using VB Studio. In that case, refer them to Oracle Applications Cloud: Configuring and Extending Applications for instructions on how to customize their Oracle Cloud Applications with App Composer to meet their business needs.

    Tip:

If their application page URL contains .../faces/..., then they can't edit this page using VB Studio.
