Actions Available for Mapping Exceptions
Service Administrators can take actions such as creating new mappings or new profiles, deleting mappings, and recalculating balances from the Manage Exceptions tab.
Table 17-2 Actions for Mapping Exceptions
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Create Mapping | Creates a mapping for the selected unmapped account |
| Create Profile | Creates a new profile for the selected balance that has a missing profile |
| Ignore Mapping |
Ignores the balance and prevents it from being loaded during subsequent balance load operations In the Mapping Exceptions tab, select the required balance and then select Ignore Mapping. This option enables you to fix systemic issues that are encountered every month. For example, some balances may be loaded every month because they are recorded in the source system, but you don’t need these balances in Account Reconciliation. You can also ignore balances with the status Summary Account. To undo an Ignore operation, you must remove its associated IGNORE mapping from Data Integration. You can select a maximum of 1000 rows at a time. |
| Delete Mapping |
Deletes the selected balance but doesn’t prevent the balance from being loaded during subsequent balance loads In the Mapping Exceptions tab, select the required balance and then select Delete Mapping. This option enables you to fix issues in a single balance load. For example, account segments in the mapping were mistakenly reversed and a set of incorrect balances were loaded. So, no action needs to be taken to manage these exceptions. You can select a maximum of 1000 balances at a time for deletion. |
| Rerun |
Runs a recalculate job to recalculate balances after the exceptions are handled and the required new mappings or profiles are created This job runs in the background. After the job completes, the balances that were recalculated are removed from this tab. |
| Export to Excel | Exports details of the exceptions listed on this tab to a Microsoft Excel file |
